When I was young, we would all pile in the station wagon and head to my dad's home town in central Utah. I remember my dad saying how beautiful the landscape was but I didn't see what he was seeing. It wasn't until I was much older that I started seeing and appreciating the beautiful landscapes that surrounded me in northern Utah. It was even later that I realized the beautiful natural wonders of southern Utah and beyond. My kids know that if there's an option, I would much rather drive than fly and if I really have my way, I'll take the backroads and take my time. After multiple decades shooting photos of homes in my profession, I've finally pointed my lens to capture the natural scenes that I now appreciate and love to shoot. 

The moments of light I 've captured in this website have been processed to represent as best I can the scene I witnessed. I'm not one to add, remove, or distort from the original photo. Some do and that's fine. It's just not me. As I continue this adventure, I'll post additional photos so check back in.
